zen: thanks for the congrats, too. how is our mutual friend? btw, i *might* be coming out to nyc for my pisces bday, so us ladies have to get together along with tamasha and rush. will keep you posted. :-)
mb: i'm trying my best not to be a stranger. i truly do miss blogging and commenting on blogs-just been trying to get through some things. i'm also actually trying to parlee into writing more short stories for my new writers' group (the things one does to keep themselves busy), but I will try to post more. hope all is well with you! :-)

yep, i FINALLY got a new job. i'm a little nervous since instead of working with youth which i have done for ages, i'm gonna be working with adults. the best thing is that i think i'm at a point where i want to work with a new population and have a challenge. hopefully this will yield for a more fulfilled and happy brownie. hope all is well with you! :-)

Ooops, how could I forget our other New Yorker Chai! Will keep all the ladies posted about a possible destination bday celebration in NYC. It'll be my last hurrah before I turn the dreaded (?) 30 in '09.
